New Year, New Class, New Amounts of Homework. Used to it?

Hey, the genie's back from busy world and taking some time off to relax. I have not been writing since last year, cos I was very busy. Man, the workload was soo much! I had to sleep at the earliest 11.45pm (late enough to cause me to keep yawning in class). I'm relieved Year 2008's over. Now New Year approaches, 2009!
It's been only one and a half months and yet our class is having a lot of homework. But I'm still managing. Besides, it's for our own good! Unless I get a bad score for PSLE, I have no right to complain. But still, homework is not the only component into scoring great marks. You gotta be motivated and strive to work much harder than the past 5 years. That's basically what I'm doing. No TV, one hour of computer playing per week. It's tough, but it's only a few months. After PSLE, we can have our fun whenever we want, even when we sleep! =)
The only major event right now is the Head Prefect Elections. I do not want to become the Head Prefect. Being Head Prefect means academic results, outgoing personality, caring and sharing attitude. I nearly have the character, but results, that's a NO. So, to all of the people in Rulang whp's reading this post, do not vote for me as Head Prefect. Vote for Chloe or some other prefects instead! Being an Exco Prefect is good enough for me! =P

SA1 is OVER!!!!

Good news, everyone! the genie has been set free!!! YIPPEEEEEE!... At least free from the mid-term examinations, FYI. The helpless genie is still trapped inside her bottle, feeling bored, but not stressed anymore.
This wk was tough, I had to admit. I worked really hard for this examination, I even slept at 1.30am on Wednesday!!! In the morning I found myself having panda eyes and I had to put foundation to cover them! Nah, just kidding. I washed my face several times until I looked HYPER fresh. However, the exams were not that easy as I thought it were. Primary 5 is so totally different from Primery 4...
Anyway, now I have to worry about VOR. And once again, I was nominated by my nosy classmates for dancing. Gd news: I dun have to worry about my partner anymore, cos the irritating one isnt in the dance. Bad news: We're dancing CHA CHA, the dance I hate most. Cha cha is rather sassy and all, and I would really prefer Rock 'n' Roll any day. But I had to like it in order to move it, so the audience will enjoy it. (That sort of rhymes... =P)
This VOR, I hope, will gonna be a great hit again, just like last year. And I hope I'll enjoy it as much as I did last year. I'll tell u all 'bout it when I get back from P5 camp, which is the Wednesday after next wk. But for now, I am really hungry and I'm gonna eat my dinner soon...

Fever stinks...

Hello, it's me again, the genie, trapped inside a bottle, though this time it's 'cos no illness can be spread to anybody else. I had fever yesterday morning, at around 2am (and mind u, i was doing my HW, not watching TV) , when i was preparing to sleep. However, when i tried to measure my temperature, the thermometer went all BLIZAAACK!!!
It turned out ok when i woke up at around 8.30am. But in the afternoon, the temperature went to 38.9 degree celcius! I was lying on the bed like a dead and helpless goose, 'cos u would know that feeling if you were at an extremely high temperature. Your feet will turn all cold and your head will be completely swaying around and around and around, which makes it completely difficult to see things. So when i stood up and walked, i would be knocking my head here and there and everywhere. It was a hard time yesterday.
I was given a one day's MC by the doc. and now i am feeling much better, though my body temperature is above the normal rate. i juz hoped that i didn't miss too much lessons for today!!!

New Year Lifestyle, so far........

Hello, it's me again, the genie, trapped inside a bottle, posting whatsoever boring stuff there is to post. Well, haven't been posting anything since last year. So now, i'm gonna tell u 'bout the new year lifestyle, so far, BTW.
Everything happening in school and home is almost the same as last year: Wake up at 6am, go to school by 7.10am, come home from school, shower(followed by lunch), do my HW, play with hamster, cleam up bedroom, eat the daily fruits, brush teeth, take another shower, read a bed time story for 27min35s, and then sleep. The daily life cycle will keep on and on till i graduate from whatever school i will be last studying at, which will happen in many years to come.
I still cope well with my studies, even though the fact that i flunked in Math and Chinese. That was CA1. All teachers always say,"It's a wake up call for all of you, students." And it is, somewhat true. Next exam would be SA1, which my (maybe dreadful) results will be shown in the report book. I, of course, hope that it would not be dreadful, at least, not exactly.
After SA1 would be the time to goof off. Who am i kidding, VOR is next. It is just a show-parents-and-make-them-proud programme where u have 2 perform for the parents. Last year was nice, except for the fact that i had to dance in front of more than 80 people! This year, i still have no idea what 2 perform. But i noe it's gonna be the last because the P6s have 2 study 4 their PSLEs and achieve wonderful results, blah blah blah. And it juz so happens that i'm P6 next year.
On the exact same day after VOR, we'll be heading to LUXURIOUS LIFE to ITCHY-MOSQUITO-BITE LIFE. That would the 3-day P5 annual camp. No offense, for exaggerating too much, but i am stating the facts. I guess it's gonna be fun, and a whole lot of quality time together with classmates and teachers. And 2 tell u this, i've never really slept in a tent before, FIY. Even yet, never ever slept in a tent together with my classmates. Guess it's a really exciting trip!
Oh, poppy cock! Why am I thinking about P5 camp which is in May? Exams haven't even started... Well, a kid's gotta do what a kid's gotta do. Or more precisely, a genie's gotta do what a genie's gotta do! =P
